May 8th and 9th: Litchfield area plant sale!

…or just May 9th if it’s super rainy on Saturday

We’re offering the remaining gorgeous cool weather plant babies for sale to the public on both May 1st and May 8th from 10am – 3ish at Alani’s house, 82 Litchfield Rd, Morris (Rt 63). We’ll be selling the plants that are left from our Spring collection – broccoli, broccolini, cabbage, leeks, kale, lettuce, peas, dill, beets, chard, shallots, as well as some warm season goodies like tomatoes, peppers and eggplant plants. These babies need good homes! We’ve put a few in our gardens, and will be donating leftovers to a few New Haven area community gardens. If you want to take a lovely drive this weekend, come on up, buy some plant babies, see Alani’s garden, and enjoy some Arethusa ice cream right up the road!
