Recycling Waste ~ Rejuvenating Soil

Worm Castings are a concentrated source of organic matter and beneficial organisms. Worms raised on our farm eat partially composted food scraps and, inside their bodies, turn this waste into a rich material teeming with beneficial microbes. Add clean, moist worm castings to the holes where you’re settling in your plant babies, outdoor containers, your houseplants or your existing planting areas.

You can even make an incredible infusion by steeping a small handful of castings in a pail of water. Water shrubs, trees, and other plants with a diluted solution to give them a great start this spring and to boost their immunity to pests.

A little goes a long way.
